Two Washington County residents face meth charges

Two young people face meth charges following their arrests in Washington County. 27-year-old Ashley Buford and 18-year-old Dustin Barham were arrested after Buford’s vehicle was stopped on Mississippi One near the R U Clean Carwash.  Officers allegedly found a large amount of methamphetamine and a portable lab. Ashley Buford remains in custody on a 10-thousand dollar bond, while Dustin Barham was released on a 5-thousand dollar bond. Both cases will go before a grand jury for further proceedings.
