Two Drug Arrests Friday In Vicksburg


VICKSBURG, MS (Ben Caxton) — Two drug busts lead to two arrests Friday in Vicksburg. Police serving a warrant on 40-year-old Ebony Cox at her Division Street address found her in possession of 7 grams of cocaine. She was charged with possession of cocaine and sale of cocaine. A traffic stop later in the day on Melrose Lane led to the arrest of 35-year-old Marquette McCroy when 13 grams of marijuana were discovered in the vehicle. Police Chief Walter Armstrong told media “Drug activity will not be tolerated in the City of Vicksburg.”
