Thunderstorm Warning for Clark County AR and 2 More

LITTLE ROCK, AR (151 PM CDT SAT APR 6 2019) — The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Northern Clark County in southwestern Arkansas Southeastern Garland County in central Arkansas Hot Spring County in southwestern Arkansas until 230 PM CDT. At 151 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near DeGray Lake State Park, or near Arkadelphia, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD: 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE: Radar indicated. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Hot Springs Hot Springs Village Arkadelphia Malvern Rockport Caddo Valley Perla Lonsdale Hot Springs Memorial Field Gum Springs in Clark County Lofton Rockwell DeGray Lake State Park Hot Springs National Park Donaldson Friendship Bismarck Alpine Magnet Cove Oaklawn Racetrack This includes Interstate 30 between mile markers 67 and 104. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
