Three Indicted for Copper Theft in Vicksburg

VICKSBURG, MS (Ben Caxton) — Three people have been indicted on multiple charges in a cable theft in the Vicksburg area back in January. 58-year-old Sandi Gaye May, 35-year-old Kevin Sanders, and 37-year-old John Wayne Williamson are charged with malicious mischief and receiving stolen property. Authorities say they were arrested on January 16 after an AT&T technician responding to a telephone outage spotted the trio on U.S. 61 near the LeTourneau community attempting to load the cable into a pickup truck after cutting it from the pole. He followed them called the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.
