Suspect in Leland Shootings Surrenders to Police

LELAND, MS (Ben Caxton) — Byron Jones, wanted by police in Leland in connection with a series of shootings in that city has turned himself in. Police say Jones surrendered at police headquarters on Tuesday. He was arrested and charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and 1 count of Weapons Possession By Convicted Felon.
