Police Solve Clarksdale – Dog Caper

CLARKSDALE, MS (Ben Caxton) — Clarksdale police have arrested two men after last week’s burglary of the CARES Animal Shelter. 57-year old Jerome Allen and 42-year-old Frederick Jones appeared before municipal judge Carlos Moore on Tuesday and both were given $50,000 bond. Also on Tuesday 58-year old Wayne Pittman turned himself into Clarksdale Police. Pittman was wanted in connection with a shooting last weekend at the Turning Point Lounge on North State Street in Clarksdale. He is charged with one count of Aggravated Assault.
