Mississippi Roadworker Accused Of Fuel Theft

MERIDIAN, MS (Ben Caxton) — A former Mississippi roadworker is accused of running a side-business – stealing fuel from Lauderdale County and selling it on the black market. Jerry Glenn Morgan of Toomsuba was arrested Friday and charged with embezzlement on suspicion that he took $237,000 in diesel fuel over a two-year period. Morgan is free on bond awaiting a court appearance on the charges.
