Local College Locked Down After Shots Fired

COAHOMA COUNTY, MS (Ben Caxton) — The campus of Coahoma Community College went on lockdown yesterday when someone fired a gun shortly after noon near the student union building. No one was injured but the college said it takes acts of violence and the safety of students seriously; earlier this month several members of the school’s football team were expelled following an alleged act of bullying and intimidation.
