January is Stalking Awareness month in Mississippi

It is the tenth year of the event, which aims to educate the public about the problem of stalking. Attorney General Jim Hood’s office says stalking perpetrators can be strangers, former friends or partners, who inflict the victim with unwanted communication, vandalism, assaults, harassment at work or constant surveillance, often using technology. Hood’s office urged all residents to educate themselves on stalking issues.
