Indianola Based Double Quick Being Sold?

INDIANOLA, MS (Ben Caxton) — According to a local newspaper Indianola based Double Quick is being sold. The Indianola Enterprise-Tocsin newspaper is reporting that Bill McPherson, managing partner in Double Quick confirmed to them that the convenience store chain which operates in Mississippi and Arkansas is under contract to be sold to South Carolina based Refuel. According to the article, McPherson says the sale which will take several more months to complete will allow Refuel to grow Double Quick’s business. Double Quick is a convenience-store chain with about 60 locations that operates primarily in rural areas and offers a variety of grocery selections, grab-and-go items and fresh food. Stores feature made-to-order foods as well as hot and cold beverages for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They are a division of Gresham Petroleum Co. which distributes fuel to Double Quick stores and other dealer sites across the Delta.
