Health Board a No, but Doctors a Yes on Medical Marijuana

JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — The state board of health expressed opposition to Initiative 65 this week; now a number of Mississippi physicians have voiced their support for the ballot initiative which would give Mississippians the option of using medical marijuana from licensed treatment facilities. Jamie Grantham, Communications Director for Mississippians for Compassionate Care, says he is disappointed with the Board’s opposition to something that could change so many peoples’ lives. The measure will go before Mississippi voters on November 3rd.
