Greenville will use a 1.6 million dollar grant for improvements at the Mid-Delta Regional Airport

Projects include the purchase of an aircraft rescue, purchase of a firefighting vehicle, repairs to the taxiway and development of a wildlife-control plan. The airport is also working on replacing Silver Airways, and could be operating Greenville to Memphis flights by another airline by November first.
