Gas Prices Expected to Continue to Fall

THE DELTA (Ben Caxton) — Industry analysts with say gas prices will continue to fall this summer, predicting the price at the pump could drop below $2 a gallon. The national average has fallen for four straight weeks and is now $2.81. Concerns about President Trump’s tariffs on China and Mexico prompted a recent drop in oil prices and those fears could lead to a slowdown in oil demand as US oil inventories rebound sharply.
