Focus on Baseball but Bulldog Football Busy Too

STARKVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — As Mississippi State’s baseball team prepares to face Stanford in the NCAA Super Regional this weekend, the Bulldog football team has also been busy. Wide receiver Isaiah Zuber has announced that he will transfer from Kansas State to Mississippi State. With 52 catches, 619 yards and 5 touchdowns, Zuber was K-State’s leading receiver last season with more catches, yards, and touchdowns than any receiver on Mississippi State’s 2018 roster. As a graduate transfer, Zuber will be eligible to play right away and the Bulldogs hope he can provide a deep threat in the passing game that they missed last season; he also returned kicks while at KSU. The Bulldogs new receiver could have an impact against his former team when Kansas State visits Starkville on September 14th.
