Five Burglaries in Clarksdale on Monday Alone

CLARKSDALE, MS (Ben Caxton) — On Monday Clarksdale police investigated four auto burglaries and one commercial burglary. Vehicles break-ins were reported in the 200 block of Shaw Cove, the 300 block of Sandy Cove and the 300 block of Pearson Street and two ATVs were stolen from Circle S Irrigation. At Monday’s meeting of the city’s mayor and commissioners, the chief of police vowed to crack down on Handicap Parking violations citywide at the request of the wife of a city commissioner.

  1. all the wife of the commissioner has to do is take tag number of the car parked in handicap place and report it. maybe then the police can catch the person breaking in cars.
