First Lung Disease Case in Mississippi Caused by Vaping

JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — The Mississippi Department of Health has reported the state’s first case of lung illness related to vaping. Nationwide there have been 380 cases of lung illness and six deaths, and most of the cases have involved vaping cannabis or nicotine products. No single e-cigarette product or device has been consistently identified in the cases of pulmonary disease.
