Deepwater Horizon’s owners have agreed to a 212 million dollar settlement with Gulf Coast residents and business owners

11 workers were killed in the 2010 disaster, which led to the country’s worst ever offshore oil spill. In the meantime, Marine Mammal Foundation researchers have linked the BP 200 million gallon spill with the deaths of an estimated 1,000 bottle nose dolphins in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
