Corinth Senior Dies in Crash Day Before Graduation

CORINTH, MS (Ben Caxton) — A Corinth high school senior died in a car accident Monday night, the day before he was to graduate. 18-year-old Jehu Longoria lost control of the car he was driving which then left the roadway, rolled several times, and struck a power pole just before 11:00 PM along Mississippi Highway 2 in Corinth. Longoria, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle in the crash and died a short time later at a local hospital.

  1. This story has incorrect information. The student was a Kossuth High School senior. The school is in Alcorn County , near Corinth.

  2. This is so sad. Praying for the family.

He was a student of Kossuth High School. I noticed the story said Corinth High. He was one of my brothers classmates. RIP Lee Longoria.
