Mississippi Teacher Arrested on Drug Charges

(Columbus, MS) — An eighth grade teacher was arrested at a middle school in Columbus yesterday morning on drug charges. Paul Marcus Jackson and seven others were charged with conspiracy to possess and distribute methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and money laundering. The case was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Agency and Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics. Jackson appeared in federal court in Aberdeen Tuesday afternoon. Hi’s bond amount is unknown at this time.
