Clarksdale Justice Center Work Continues Despite Rain

CLARKSDALE, MS (Ben Caxton) — Nearly 40 days of spring rain delayed construction on Coahoma County’s new justice center, but in a front-page story this week the Clarksdale Press-Register reports at least two dozen workers are on-site every day. The new $12.5 million facility will centralize the sheriff’s office, jail, and courts under one roof and is expected to open late this year.
