Animals forced from their natural habitat could be dangerous

The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks have increased their law enforcement presence in flood areas to promote public safety and enforce wildlife laws while flooding continues to be an issue. Dangerous Wild hogs are being driven onto higher ground along with other game as the river reaches flood stages. Rangers hope to prevent potential levee damage caused by these animals and stop the hunting of all wild animals except for waterfowl.
