3 year deal secures local visits by big riverboat

Greenville City Councilors have approved a long-range docking agreement with the American Queen Steamboat Company in Memphis. Greenville will continue to serve as a port of call for the cruise line’s flagship vessel the river steamboat American Queen. A unanimous vote from the panel to extend the agreement for three years will ensure more of the local visits from hundreds of guests aboard the biggest paddle-wheeler ever created.
