Yazoo Dispatcher Robber Had Help

YAZOO COUNTY, MS (Ben Caxton) — Yazoo County authorities say the man who robbed a female 911 dispatcher at gunpoint had help from another dispatcher. 27-year old Terrance Freeman was arrested Monday for accessory to armed robbery. Yazoo County Sheriff Jacob Sheriff says Freeman propped a door open which allowed a scarf-wearing man to enter and rob a fellow dispatcher just after midnight Wednesday. Authorities say the robber waited until Freeman went to the bathroom before entering. Office doors are normally locked late at night. Deputies believe the two men knew the female dispatcher had a large amount of cash because she was about to pay her bills. The investigation is continuing.
