Wired For Sound Offers Live Music In Cleveland

CLEVELAND, MS (Ben Caxton) — The Cleveland “Wired for Sound” program has three events scheduled to end the week. Tonight from 6:00PM to 8:00 PM you can hear Landon Knowles performing at the Airport Grocery, Thursday it’s Kacee Russell’s turn at Mississippi Grounds starting at 11:00 AM, and on Friday Carrie Lynn Stanford will be at the Mississippi Meat Market from 6:00 to 8:00 in the evening. “Wired For Sound” features local talent performing a well-known repertoire of popular music plus original songs in several acoustic-based genres, including Americana, blues, country, folk, R&B, and singer-songwriter. The program which began at the end of January and runs through April is the result of a partnership between the Cleveland-Bolivar County Chamber of Commerce and students in the Delta Music Institute entertainment industry studies program at Delta State University.
