While the state fares poorly on all these national rankings, surveys and polls, Mississippi has finished 10th in the nation for having the most beer drinkers

Your average resident here consumes 33 gallons of the suds in a year, five more than the average U.S. citizen. The overall numbers however suggest people are drinking less beer…or 2.5 fewer gallons than in previous years.
