Well Known Event Planner & Designer Killed In Wreck


YAZOO CITY (Angie Quezada) — A Yazoo City man whose sense of design influenced governors and multiple generations of Mississippi families has died. Cary “KK” Hill was killed in a one-car crash Wednesday evening. The Yazoo County Sheriff’s Office says the accident happened on Grand Avenue in Yazoo City. Hill was a designer and event-planner who spent many years decorating people’s homes, especially at Christmas. He worked with several first ladies to get the Governor’s Mansion ready for the holidays. Most recently, he was director of the Triangle Cultural Center in Yazoo City. He was 62 years old.
