Washington County sirens being repaired

Emergency Management Director David Burford has advised the Washington County Board of Supervisors that malfunctioning county sirens may be repaired earlier than expected. Burford told the board that parts were ordered for two sirens. Emergency officials always caution that those sirens should never be relied on as the sole source of information, and that residents still need weather radios.
