Washington County Jail Guard accused in contraband case

A correctional officer at the Washington County Regional Correctional Facility faces charges in a contraband case. That story from Ann Kenda. Correctional officer Patrick Henderson is out on one-thousand dollars bond on a smuggling charge. He was allegedly found to have three packages of tobacco in a backpack. Tobacco is highly sought after but not allowed inside the jail. Officials said they work hard to prevent contraband from entering the facility and will seek prosecution against anyone who violates that policy. Henderson remains free pending his next court appearance.
