VICKSBURG, MS (Ben Caxton) — A Friday early-morning gas station robbery has Vicksburg Police searching for the culprits. Police say two men wearing shirts over their faces walked into the Circle K on U.S. Highway 61 South just after 6:30 AM yesterday. The men displayed handguns and took an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes before heading off into the woods behind the store on foot. Witnesses said one man wore a black shirt, gray or blue pants and brown shoes with a white shirt which covered his head, while the second wore a black hoodie with a black shirt across his face with black pants. Vicksburg police are asking anyone who may have any information to contact the department directly or call Crimestoppers. A $2,500 reward has been offered.
