Vicksburg Man Hospitalized After Shot Over A Cigarette

VICKSBURG, MS (Ben Caxton) — A Vicksburg man was shot multiple times Saturday apparently over a cigarette. The unidentified 32-year-old man told police he was walking when a black male approached him and asked for a cigarette, then started shooting him. The man was airlifted to University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson for treatment of his injuries and was listed in stable condition. The Vicksburg Police Department is searching for a suspect.
