MADISON, MS (Ben Caxton) — The case of a Hinds County Deputy and a Raymond Detention center nurse found dead inside a home in Madison has been ruled a murder-suicide. Madison County coroner Alex Breeland said that 28-year-old LeKrisna Myers shot and killed 26-year-old Hinds County Deputy Darryl Davis. She then shot and killed herself. Deputy Davis’s death has been ruled a homicide and Myers death was ruled a suicide. The two were found dead in a North Wind Subdivision home after a police welfare check when they did not show up for work on Wednesday. Myers has a 10-year-old son who was not at the home at the time of the shooting which is believed to have occurred early Wednesday moring. Autopsies are being conducted by the Madison County Coroner to shed more light on what actually happened.
