Two Arrested Threatening Hinds County Schools

HINDS COUNTY, MS (Ben Caxton) — Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with threats made against schools in Hinds County. The latest arrest involved a 16-year-old juvenile who was taken into custody by Hinds County Sheriff’s Investigators on Wednesday afternoon and is being held at a youth detention center. 19-year-old Daniel Hall from Jackson was arrested at 1:30 AM Wednesday morning. Hall is facing misdemeanor charges for admitting to sending threats online using social media against three different schools. Police say students said they received the threat around 8:30 Tuesday night. The threats were directed at students at Raymond High, Clinton, and Provine schools.
