Twister Confirmed Near Jackson on Monday

JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — The National Weather Service has confirmed that a twister touched down west of Jackson Monday morning. There were no reports of injuries or major damage from the EF-1 tornado in Raymond, about a mile from where another tornado touched down a week earlier. High winds and rain brought down power lines in Issaquena County and rain pelted much of the state on Monday.
