Trump Nominates Co-Chairman For Delta Regional Authority

THE DELTA (Ben Caxton) — President Donald Trump has nominated Chris Caldwell to be co-chairman of the Delta Regional Authority, a federal-state partnership that works to improve economic opportunity in the Mississippi River Delta Region. Caldwell currently lives in Little Rock and is Director of Special Projects for Arkansas Senator John Boozman. His appointment requires Senate confirmation but Caldwell has already received support from Mississippi Senator Thad Cochran, chairman of the Senate Appropriations Committee.
