Toddlers Abducted at Gunpoint Found Safe

COPIAH COUNTY, MS (Ben Caxton) — An amber alert for two Copiah County toddlers taken at gunpoint from their great-grandmother’s home Wednesday night has been canceled after they were found safe yesterday. Dior Wade and Zarie Wade were abducted by their mother, Teanna Dixon, and her boyfriend, Derek Young, according to law enforcement. The girl’s father had legal custody. The Mississippi Department of Public Safety in an email release Thursday morning said that Dior and Zarie were safe but gave no further details on the incident.
