Thursday Morning Car Fire Ruled Accident

GREENVILLE, MS (Ben Caxton) — An early Thursday morning Greenville fire that destroyed a vehicle has been judged to be accidental. The Greenville Fire Department was called to 847 Central Street around 1:30 AM to find a white four door passenger pick up truck with heavy flames coming from the cab. After extinguising the blaze and siconnecting the vehicle’s battery cables firefighters called in the Fire Marshal to investigate who eventually ruled that the fire had not been set on purpose. The truck sustained heavy fire, smoke and water damage to the interior of the cab.
