Three Suspects Arrested In Fatal Greenwood Shooting

GREENWOOD, MS (Ben Caxton) — Greenwood Police have three suspects in custody in connection with the city’s first homicide of 2018. 48-year-old Bryant Keith Ramsey died of a gunshot wound to the head Tuesday evening. He was shot shortly before 6:00 PM near the intersection of Broad Street and Avenue K in Greenwood. A 19-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman, and a 44-year-old woman are being held in the Leflore County Jail for questioning. The weapon used in the homicide, a .22-caliber handgun, was recovered at the residence of the suspected shooter in Carroll County according to Greenwood Police Chief Ray Moore.
