Three Charged With Murder In Killing Of 6-Year-Old

 

NORTH JACKSON, MS (Ben Caxton) — A statewide Amber alert was issued yesterday for 6-year old Kingston Frazier who was inside a car that was stolen from the parking lot of a Kroger store in Jackson. The boy’s mother, Ebony Archie, left her Toyota Camry running with Frazier inside early Thursday morning. Within a short time, authorities say two subjects in a Honda Civic pulled up to Archie’s car. The passenger of the Honda, a 66-foottall black male, got out of his car and jumped in Archie’s car with the child inside. Both cars sped away. Police found Frazier dead of a single gunshot wound in the backseat of the stolen Toyota Camry in Gluckstadt sometime before 10:00 AM.Three suspects, 19-year-old Byron McBride, 18-year-old DeAllen Washington and 18-year-old Dwan Diondro Wakefield, are in custody and all have been charged with capital murder. None of the three were given bond. Wakefield attends Ridgeland High School where he played quarterback on the football team. Yesterday would have been graduation day from kindergarten for the murdered six-year-old.
