The Investigation Continues, No Arrests Yet

(Greenville, MS)- An $11,000 reward is on the table for any information leading to the conviction of whoever set a local church on fire, and also spray painted the words “Vote Trump” on the side. Greenville Mayor Errick Simmons, who called the Tuesday night fire and vandalism at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church a hate crime, said the reward includes $5,000 from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, $5,000 from the state fire marshal’s office and $1,000 from the Washington County Crimestoppers.
