The Greenville Corps of the Salvation Army is sending a van around to look for homeless people in need of a break from cold temperatures

A shelter has opened at Grace Tabernacle Covenant Church to temporarily give people a place to sleep. Officials said in some cases, homeless people have been found on the ground without blankets or a coat, and it is potentially a matter of life and death to get them inside until temperatures are back to normal.
