The Greenville City Council will re-open a decision to partner with the YMCA

At its meeting today, the Greenville City Council will take another look at a recent partnership formed with the Carter Memorial Y-M-C-A. A memorandum of understanding signed by both parties forms a partnership that allows Greenville residents access to the Y Pool this summer for a small fee of one to three dollars per visit. The move was made after the city closed its own pool last year due to the cost of maintenance. The Parks and Recreation Committee says it is working on trying to find the funds to re-open the pool, which promoted the City Council to reconsider its deal with the Y.
