Test scores are on the rise in Greenville Public Schools, according to newly-released figures from the state Department of Education

Fourth and fifth graders raised their Language Arts scores 16 points over last year. All other grades also rose in Language Arts, except for eighth, which fell 3 points. Fourth graders raised their math scores by a significant 20 points. Other grades also rose in math, except for third and seventh grades, which declined by about four points. The education department will release letter grades for school districts on September 13th.
