Chicot Memorial

A 17-year-old boy has become Greenville’s sixth homicide victim of the year. Police say Brandon Lockridge died from bullets fired into an apartment building from outside on North Broadway Street on Sunday afternoon. A second man, identified as 34-year-old Maurice Thornton, was injured in the same incident and hospitalized in stable condition. Police say they are interviewing a number of people in the case.
