Suspect Indicted in Death of MS Teen

(Mississippi) — A Mississippi man suspected in another homicide has been indicted in the 2014 burning death of 19-year-old Jessica Chambers. 27-year-old Quinton Tellis was indicted on capital murder charges Tuesday by a special grand jury in Panola County while he was in the Ouachita Parish Jail in Monroe, Louisiana where he is being held on charges connected to a 2015 death. Tellis is believed to have been the last person to have been with Chambers the night she was killed. Chambers was found on a back road shortly after 8 p.m. on Dec. 6, 2014, with burns covering more than 98 percent of her body.
