Supporters Resuscitate Senatobia Emergency Room

SENATOBIA, MS (Ben Caxton) — Tate County’s only emergency room will remain open. North Oak Regional Medical Center had planned to close the facility next Monday, but after an outpouring of support from the community and extraordinary efforts by the staff, they have decided to keep emergency services open. Other services at the 76-bed acute care facility in Senatobia remain unaffected. The nearest emergency rooms outside Tate County are in Batesville, Olive Branch, and Southaven.
