Students in public schools across the Delta are taking state tests to gauge their skills in English, History, Algebra and Biology

Broad Street High School in Shelby prepared with several educational and motivational events, which included a visit from well-known motivational speaker Dr. Fairest Hill, who talked about success on both the tests and in life. A breakfast was also held for parents to keep them informed about the testing process. Students must pass the Subject Area Testing Program 2 to be eligible for graduation.
