Stores across the state report an increase in sales as residents are scooping up as many state flags as they can carry out of the shop

Those shoppers say they are against any ban of the state flag, which is how retail giants have responded to the national debate. In the meantime, the great-great grandson to Confederate President Jefferson Davis says the flag is a symbol that divides the nation and should be retired to museums.
