Stennis Students unveil their ideas for Leland.

Students studying ideas for community improvement in Leland have made their presentation to the Chamber of Commerce. Ideas presented by a landscape architecture class at Mississippi State University’s John C. Stennis Institute of Government and Community Development included the planting of trees along Broad Street, a new basketball court for Fairfield Park and a walking trail along Deer Creek and Passive Park near the Jim Henson Boyhood Exhibit.
