State public health officials are teaming with Mississippi law enforcement in addressing a recent rash of synthetic marijuana overdoses

Dozens of people have been treated by poison centers since Easter weekend. Police say victims aren’t sure what they’re getting into. Spice can be purchased in stores and medical officials say it can produce comatose-type symptoms and in some cases can even cause death.
