Six Month Meeting Minutes Backlog Almost Gone

COAHOMA COUNTY, MS (Ben Caxton) — An audit earlier this year found Coahoma County Chancery Clerk Carolyn Parham’s office was as much as six months behind in recording minutes of meetings of the county board of supervisors. In a front-page story this week the Clarksdale Press Register reports Parham has been working overtime and should be caught up by the end of this week. Minutes of public meetings should be completed and in the books within 30 days.
